Ba'Noodle : The Bag Noodle Chip Clips
Ba'Noodle: Bag Noodle Chip Clips
I'm so happy about the Ba'Noodle, the bag noodle chip clips that finally hit the market. Now here is one as seen on TV product that I can really get behind. The Ba'Noodle has all the makings of a sure fire infomercial hit, and I can prove it. But first let me explain the rules.
As Seen On TV products are considered direct response marketing items and there are general guidelines each must follow if they want to be considered for infomercial type marketing. These guidelines are not set in stone, but they are a pretty good indicator for success, and more importantly will help the powers that be decide if a product is worth all the trouble it takes to get them to market.
First, a product like Ba'Noodle needs to appeal to the masses. Is this something a large segment of the population can relate to? Next it needs to be a quick and easy solution to a very common problem. It also be inexpensive enough to manufacture so it can be sold to the consumer at a great price. And finally, it must have some type of WoW factor which will catch the attention of the viewer right away. If a product has all these characteristics, a marketing company will probably take a chance on it and the inventor might have a hit on their hands.
To see how the Ba'Noodle Bag Noodle Chip Clips stand up to this test, let's take a look at the Ba'Noodle commercial. The fact that there is even a commercial should give you an early idea that the product, at least in theory, is a winner.

Ba'Noodle Chip Clips Reviews
The Ba'Noodle is relatively new so finding Ba'Noodle reviews online that actually talk about the product is pretty difficult at this point, but you can see by the commercial that the product is pretty darn cool. In my opinion it definitely has the mass appeal a direct response company would be looking for before they invested heavily in a campaign.
The Ba'Noodle chip clips certainly seem to solve a common problem, and they do so quite easily. The price is very reasonable and it does have somewhat of a wow factor. To me the wow factor is, "Wow!, why didn't I think of that?". It may not be a lunar landing, but the fact that the product is so simple and easy to use certainly got my attention the first time I saw the ad.
Now it's kind of cheating because the commercial was already made before we started discussing this here, so you know that a direct marketing company saw exactly what we've noticed about Ba'Noodle and have jumped in full steam ahead.
Now what really got me into the Ba'Noodle chip clips is that they are simple better than any ordinary chip clip I've seen. In my house we have a lot of cereal, chips, cheeses and just about anything else you can think of that you would love chip clips to work for. But my biggest problem item is trying to keep my Trader Joe's Popcorn from going stale before I can eat.
This particular bag of pop corn is pretty large and once you open it, you are pretty much stuck eating a lot more than you should just get rid of whatever won't fit in a gallon size zip lock bag. It isn't the best way to monitor your portion but this stuff needs to be moved to a better storage option or it gets stale fast. A normal chip clip does not really do the trick, but the Ba'Noodle does a heck of a job. You just roll it down tight and bend the ends and it is air tight.
I also think it's the best thing for my large bag of dry dog food. I have a little dog but have to buy special dry food from the vet. It is a lot cheaper to buy the big bags but they take forever to use and the food just sits. I usually take the bag and empty it into 3 or 4 plastic dog food containers but that is a pain and they take up a lot of room. However, with the Ba'Noodle I find it a lot more convenient to roll down and seal. It seems really air tight and if I turn over the bag nothing falls out and we are talking about a 25lb bag.
If you watch the Ba'Noodle commercial again you will see a ton of creative uses for these chip clips so I won't repeat them here, but it really is as simple to use as it shows in the ad. I think the price is pretty reasonable and should get even better when you can start to find Ba'Noodle in stores. For now the deal shakes out to 20 Ba'Noodle Chip Clips for right at $20. I know that is says it is a Buy One Get One Free offer for $10, but when you at the $4.95 S&H charge for the first 10, and then the additional $4.95 S&H for the "free" 10, you are left with $19.90.
I think it is worth it because they are durable and dishwasher safe so 20 Chip Clips should be enough to last you for a long time. Like I said above, I think this product will be a real winner and it even has the Sully Seal of Approval which seems to be a new trust badge slapped onto any product that Pitchmen's Anthony Sullivan endorses. Sully is a no nonsense money guy how creates hit after hit in the Direct Response world so if he is putting in his money and time, then you can bet it is going to sell well.
What I don't like about Ba'Noodle is the name. I think it is too hard to remember and it will take people a few times of seeing the commercial before they remember it, and good luck spelling it! I think these fancy chip clips ought to just be called bag noodles and then there would be no chance of confusion. But based on how easy it is to use and how functional they really are my Ba'Noodle Chip Clips review has to be a major thumbs up.
