Wonder File Portable Desk Organizer

The Wonder File Portable Desk Organizer is one of those As Seen On TV products that actually works. We all have a bit of clutter in our lives and I for one have vowed to organize my life. The problem is that getting organized has been my New Year's Resolution every year since 1988 and I've yet to do it.

For some, everything in its place makes a lot of sense. For me, it's just one big place and everything happens to be there! I've read that uncluttering can lead to less stress in your life and I believe it. I've noticed that when everything is done, dishes put away, room clean and I leave nothing until that morning, that I actually sleep better. So it is something I want to get a grip on. My office is no better. For years my coworkers have mocked the way I keep my desk. Of course I know where everything is but it is not condusive to a positive work environment. I mean, I need my phone messages from 8 years ago. Don't you?

Well, if I can manage a little effort, the As Seen On TV people have once again come to the rescue wit a simple solution to a widespread problem. The Wonder File is not only a desk organizer, it is a whole life organizer. You'll see what I mean as you get further into this. Now I'm going to admit that I was given my Wonder File as a so called gift, which I've later come to realize was an underhanded jab at my "lifestyle", but it has been a real help and a lot of fun.

For example, I had been ruminating over my brilliant decision to get another lap top computer so I didn't have to lug my junk from the office, to home and back again. I actually thought I was being brilliant but this wasn't a very cost effective solution to my issues. I would effectively have to set up a home office similar to my "office" office just to get the work done I was too slack to do during my work day. I know you are thinking just get a cool notebook bag and problem solved, but it's not that simple. In order to have some continuity from work to home back to work again, you need to be organized. The Wonder File worked for me, and if you watch the Wonder File Commercial below, you will soon start to see why.

The Wonder File Review for me is simple. I love it because regardless if it is the best desk organizer or not, it forced me to address my clutter issues. The most important to remember with this product is to use it. If you make the effort to organize, keep up with it, and use it then the Wonder File is awesome.

If you watched the commercial you got to see this thing in action and I think it's pretty impressive. Again, my main issue was the office desk and then how to get my work to and from without losing my continuity.

What I actually ended up doing was cleaning off my work desk and using the wonder file on my desk top. I have it neatly loaded with my junk and I just work on top of it. I have a return on my desk and that's where my computer is so I just have the Wonder File open on the main desk top at all times. My inbox has been replaced with top, right corner of the Wonder File and my laptop goes in the center storage section when I'm out and about. Although I have plenty of storage in their for my thumb drive, cords and accessories, the main benefit is for my papers. It may be different for others. Further, the Wonder File provides a great little work space on the plane.

The really cool part about my experience with the Wonder File is how I do my work at home. Instead of going into the home office I've gravitated toward our dining room table. This is pretty much the focal point of our home because of the layout and it's the perfect place to do some work and stay connected to the family. The only drawback is right before dinner when it's time to clear off the table and set it for our meal. So now I just fold up the Wonder File and put it in the extra chair so there is no real clean up. I find I'm mostly signing, sealing and stamping paper work at the house and it fits right into this desk organizer. So I couldn't be happier with this thing. It took a little a bit to get myself into the routine of using it but I now can't live without it.

So we see how the Wonder File is applicable for dad but the commercial showed some good uses for it and I think they'll work well. I can totally see thing being used by some college kid sprawled out on the bed in a dorm room. Space is always at a premium there it this would come in very handy.

I also think they were right when saying it's perfect for crafters. It would be great to store different stocks of paper, trimmings, ribbons, inks, stamps and stickers plus each item would be easy to see and retrieve. The other thing I thought of was how it may replace the fridge as a place to put coupons, notes and messages. We have a little built in desk area between our fridge and utility room which is just basically a junk pile. We could get rid of the clutter and lay out the Wonder File on the desk and create a lot of new space for our stuff.

These are just a few ideas for uses and I'm sure there are tons more for you creative folks out there. I'm giving the Wonder File my thumbs up and think the As Seen On TV people have a pretty solid hit on their hands. In fact, the Buy One Get One free offer is great.
